South High School’s Drill and Color Guard Teams traveled to Daytona Beach, Fla.  to compete in the National Drill Team Championships.   South's four teams — led by seniors Caitlin Sumpter, Nicholus Cox, Tori Webb and Matthew Craytor are part of the only JROTC program in Wichita to compete at the national level. This event is for the elite JROTC teams throughout the Country.  It is South’s third trip to the Nationals.  Each year they return to Wichita with impressive results and this year is no exception as shown by the results below.
